3 years as a student-apprentice
During my work-study placement at Enedis, France's leading electricity distributor, I have the opportunity to play an important role in the design and development of several IT solutions for the Valenciennes branch. My main responsibilities as project manager and developer are :
- Analysing business needs and translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Designing and implementing innovative solutions using company-approved solutions such as CodeIgniter.
- Produce mock-ups for the tools in order to design a clear and practical interface for the end users.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing solutions to comply with standards or better meet requirements.
- Drawing up the documentation required for user training.
This experience allows me to hone my technical skills, but also helps me to develop a professional and relational approach to meeting the complex challenges of IT in a constantly changing environment and to better transcribe the needs of end-users.
